How do I install PC Matic VPN?

Windows

Follow the instructions below to install PC Matic VPN on your Windows computer.

Supported Windows Versions: 10, 11

1. Download the PC Matic VPN installer.
2. Double click on the downloaded installation file to run.

3. Check the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions and click Install.

   

4. Select Yes in the User Account Control pop-up window.

   

5. Click Launch when the installation completes.

   

6. Select Yes in the User Account Control pop-up window.

   

7. To login, enter your PC Matic account credentials and click the Log In button.

   

macOS

Follow the instructions below to install PC Matic VPN on your Mac computer.

Supported macOS versions 10.12+

1. Download the PC Matic VPN installer.
2. Double click the downloaded DMG file to open.

3. Drag and drop the PC Matic VPN app icon to the Applications folder to install.

   

4. Open Launchpad, or go to the Applications folder, then open the PC Matic VPN app.

5. 

6. When prompted to allow the app to open, click Open.

   

7. When the PC Matic VPN app opens, you will be prompted to check for and/or allow automatic updates. We recommend checking the box to automatically download and install and clicking on Check Automatically.

   

8. Log in to the PC Matic VPN app with your PC Matic email address and associated password.

   

9. Once you have logged into the PC Matic VPN app, click on the green Connect button at the bottom.

   

10. When prompted, click Allow to let the PC Matic VPN app add VPN Configurations.

    

11. The PC Matic VPN system extension will be blocked. Click on Open Security Preferences to allow it.

    

12. In System Preferences > Security & Privacy, on the tab, click the Allow button to allow the PC Matic VPN system extension.

    

Android

Follow the instructions below to install PC Matic VPN on your Android phone or tablet.

Requires Android 10 or higher.

1. Begin by installing the app from Google Play.
2. Once the app is installed, open it.

3. Log in to the PC Matic VPN app with your PC Matic email address and associated password.

   

4. Once you have logged into the PC Matic VPN app, click on the green Connect button at the bottom.

5. When prompted, click Ok to let the PC Matic VPN app set up the connection.

   

6. Enter your passcode, if prompted.

   

iOS/iPadOS

Follow the instructions below to install PC Matic VPN on your iPhone/iPad computer.

Requires iOS/iPadOS 14 or higher.

1. Begin by installing the app from the Apple App Store.
2. Once the app is installed, open it.

3. Log in to the PC Matic VPN app with your PC Matic email address and associated password.

   

4. Once you have logged into the PC Matic VPN app, click on the green Connect button at the bottom.

5. When prompted, click Allow to let the PC Matic VPN app add VPN Configurations.

   

6. Enter your passcode, if prompted.
