3.2 - Protocol

You can select a VPN protocol for your PC Matic VPN app to connect with.

3.2.1 - WireGuard®

The WireGuard® protocol is the newest, fastest and most resilient; with state-of-the-art security.

3.2.2 - IKEv2

The IKEv2 protocol offers highly stable security when switching networks or reconnecting. It is a fast protocol, but only supported on certain platforms.

3.2.3 - IPSec

IPSec is a protocol suite that encrypts IP packets for transport and tunneling and protects all application traffic over an IP network. IPSec does not define a particular VPN encryption algorithm or an authentication function in and of itself — it simply provides a framework for secure transport.
