Removing Existing Devices
You can remove existing devices from your account if you are no longer using that device, it has died, or you no longer wish to protect it.
- Open PC Matic by clicking on the SuperShield icon in the system tray (by the time/date) then click Launch PC Matic.
Or you can right-click the PC Matic desktop icon and run the app as an administrator.
You can also search for PC Matic in the Search Bar. Then run PC Matic as an administrator.
- Once PC Matic launches click on devices.
- Click the ‘X’ in the upper right corner of the device that you wish to remove.
- Click Yes to confirm.
If a computer has been on the account less than 60 days, but has been scanned within the last 60 days, it cannot be removed from the account via the dashboard. Computers that have been on the license more than 90 days can be removed without having to wait 60 days from the last scan.
