Stealth VPN won't auto-connect

  1. Open PC Matic and click the VPN tab on the left side of the program. Click VPN Settings.

  1. The first page you see is Overview. Make sure you have Trust this network for Auto VPN turned on.

  1. Click the Connection tab in the Options menu side bar. You will want to change all of the settings as seen below:
  • VPN Protocol: OpenVPN
  • Auto-connect at startup: Connect to fastest server
  • Reconnect after interruption: On
    • Maximum attempts: 25

  1. Click the Privacy tab on VPN Settings menu located on the left side of the screen. Make sure Full device kill switch and Selected traffic rules, are turned off.

  1. Click the Reliability tab on VPN Settings menu located on the left side of the screen. Scroll to AutoVPN and make sure it is turned off here. This AutoVPN is specifically referring to the trusted zone feature in PC Matic.

  1. Click the VPN tab, then click Quick Connect.

  1. If the VPN connects, restart your computer to ensure the Auto-connect feature is working.
