Install VPN On Router (STEALTH ONLY)

PC Matic Stealth VPN will give you the ability to install the product on your home router. This secures every connected device on your network simultaneously. This will include smart home devices that are not typically capable of having security software installed.

To install PC Matic Stealth VPN on your home router, you will need to follow the steps below.

  1. Open PC Matic, then click the VPN tab on the left menu bar.
    1. Click VPN  Settings

  1. Click Router VPN from the settings options.

  1. Create a profile for your home router.

- Choose between WireGuard and OpenVPN protocol.

- Enter a Profile Name.

- Select the VPN server you would like the router to connect to.

- If you would like to ensure your LAN devices are reachable from the router profile, keep this         t  turned on. If not, turn it off.

- Click the Create Profile button.

  1. Select the VPN Router Profile you just created. Click Generate Config, if your profile is using OpenVPN Protocol, or QR+Config for Wireguard Protocol.

  1. Copy or Download the Config or the QR code, and consult your Router Manual for instructions on how to complete the process.
