Introduction

The future of PC Matic is a brand-new application, built from the ground up using the latest technology available to provide the most secure, stable, and efficient set of applications for your computer. It combines the PC Matic you know and love with the fastest VPN that we launched last year, a rebuilt privacy scanner (formerly PC Magnum), and so much more.

It is important to note, that the first time you open PC Matic, you will see the screen below. To access all of the PC Matic features, you will have to complete a Vulnerability Scan.

Dashboard

This dashboard serves as the central hub for your selected PC Matic service. The Dashboard display will change and offer more protection options based on the feature icon you have selected.


Sidebar

The sidebar navigation is where you will access each of the various PC Matic features, performance metrics, support options, and self help literature.

  • Home - This is the default main page which gives an outline of your existing PC Matic features, and important information about your subscription.
  • Security - Gives you access to real time protection, malware scanning, computer maintenance scans, firewall enhancements, and much more.
  • VPN - Activates the VPN service and all of it's features.
  • Privacy - Here you will be able to run privacy scan and cleans and use the Privacy web browser.
  • Identity - Accesses the ID Force protection and the Premium ID Force protection offered with PC Matic Ultimate.
  • Performance - Allows you to monitor and track key performance metrics for your device.
  • Support - Provides you with all of the support options associated with your subscription.
  • Help - Access to our self help articles and commonly asked questions.

Located at the top of the page, this area informs you on what PC Matic protection package you are currently subscribed to. It also contains access to the program menu, account info, settings, and notifications.

  • Menu - Info on how to add a new device and the latest news. It will also provide options for how to get Help with your program, or provide feedback.
  • Account - The first page will show you your active subscriptions, and allow you to toggle the automatic renewal status.

Clicking the account button will allow you the email associated with your PC Matic account, and update your password.

  • Settings - You can zoom your screen in or out by clicking the Zoom button. Clicking on About will show you the current program version number.
  • Alerts - We will provide alerts for all major program news, such as updates, Townhalls, and major security news.
