I just purchased PC Matic, now what do I do?

You just took a major step towards securing your devices from today’s newest threats. After purchasing PC Matic, the first step is to begin installing it on each device that you want to protect.

1. Pop over to the Add a Device page on this knowledgebase and pick the Operating System that you want to install first.
2. Follow along with the instructions for each device type that you have.
3. Then check out the article on how to run a PC Matic scan.
4. Verify that PC Matic is protecting your device. PC Matic’s real-time protection component is called SuperShield. When installed, you will see a small shield icon inside the system tray of your computer. Look in the lower right-hand corner of your desktop (Windows) or in the Status Bar along the top (Mac). If the SuperShield icon is green, you are currently protected.
