Logfile Request - PC Matic 4


To assist with troubleshooting various issues with the PC Matic application or your device, customer support may ask you for a log file. Below, we will guide you through the very simple steps to generate and submit a log file.


  1. Open PC Matic. You can open PC Matic from SuperShield, the taskbar icon, the desktop icon, or by searching for it in the windows search bar.

  1. Click the Options tab on the right-hand side.

  1. Click Technical Support on the left-hand side.

  1. Then click on Create Logfile. Two folders will be placed on your desktop and a black box will open. After a minute or so the black box will close and you should see a message that the log file was successfully uploaded. The files should disappear from the desktop.
