Logfile Request - PC Matic 4
To assist with troubleshooting various issues with the PC Matic application or your device, customer support may ask you for a log file. Below, we will guide you through the very simple steps to generate and submit a log file.
- Open PC Matic. You can open PC Matic from SuperShield, the taskbar icon, the desktop icon, or by searching for it in the windows search bar.
- Click the Options tab on the right-hand side.
- Click Technical Support on the left-hand side.
- Then click on Create Logfile. Two folders will be placed on your desktop and a black box will open. After a minute or so the black box will close and you should see a message that the log file was successfully uploaded. The files should disappear from the desktop.
