Support Beacon Not Showing

It is possible that some ad blockers and ad blocker settings are preventing the PC Matic support beacon from loading on PC Matic webpages. Below we have provided steps for the most common ad blockers to disable them on PC Matic webpages so you can display the support beacon.


PC Matic Ad Blocker

  1. While on the page that you want to allow through the ad blocker, look to the upper right-hand corner and find the green PC Matic shield.
  2. Click the shield icon and then click the blue power icon to disable the PC Matic ad blocker on that page.
  3. After you click the blue power icon, refresh the page using the refresh button that appears.


uBlock Origin

  1. While on the page that you want to allow through the ad blocker, look to the upper right-hand corner and find the red uBlock Origin shield.
  2. Click the shield icon and then click the blue power icon to disable the ad blocker on that page.
  3. After you click the blue power icon, refresh the page using the refresh button that appears.

uBlock Origin Lite

  1. While on the page that you want to allow through the ad blocker, look to the upper right-hand corner and find the uBlock Origin Lite red shield.
  2. Click the shield icon and then click the blue line to the left (no filtering).
  3. After you change the settings to No Filtering, the page will refresh with filtering disabled.

AdBlock

  1. While on the page that you want to allow through the ad blocker, look to the upper right-hand corner and find the red AdBlock icon (stop sign).
  2. Click the AdBlock icon and then click the "Pause on this site" button.
  3. After you click the pause button, the page will refresh with blocking disabled.

Other ad blockers

If you are utilizing an ad blocker that is not listed above, we advise you to consult their support documentation for instructions on how to disable the filtering for a specific site. The process should be similar to the ad blockers mentioned earlier.
