PC Matic 5 scan failed
It seems like there is an issue with the install files and an error with your version of Windows. You will need to uninstall PC Matic, run this fix tool, then reinstall the latest version of PC Matic 5.
(If you have any issues with these steps, please stop and let us know what is happening before moving on to the next step)
1) First you will want to uninstall PC Matic and SuperShield under your installed app settings.
2) Next you will need to download the fix tool. Please right-click on the link below and select "Save link as..." and save the file to your desktop:

Once the file is downloaded and saved, right-click on the saved file and select Properties, then from the bottom of the Properties windows see if Windows is blocking the file. If it is, remove the checkmark to block the file, click on apply. If it is not blocked, just click cancel.
3) Whether the file is blocked or not, right click once more and choose "Run as Administrator" from the drop down menu.
4) After the file completes restart your computer. <<Very Important
5) When the computer is powered back on, you will need to install the latest version of PC Matic 5.
Please right-click on the link below and select "Save target as..." and save the file to your desktop:

6) Once the install is complete, restart your computer one more time, then try running a scan.
If the scan completes, you are all set.
