Update Password
You have the option to update your password either through the PC Matic app or on your Customer Account Page.
PC Matic 5
- Open PC Matic by clicking on the SuperShield icon in the system tray (by the time/date) then click Launch PC Matic.
Or you can right-click the PC Matic desktop icon and run the app as an administrator.
You can also search for PC Matic in the Search Bar. Then run PC Matic as an administrator.
- Click on Account.
- Click on the Account tab.
- Change your Password.
Note: There are password parameters.
- Between 8-50 characters
- At least 1 capital letter
- At least 1 number
- Passwords do not match
- Can't be a previously used password.
- Enter your Password. Then click Change Email.
You can click Show Password to see your password.
Note: Errors will be provided if the current password entered is incorrect. Furthermore, an error will be displayed if an attempt is made to change the password to a previously used one.
- Once you change your email, you will get a notification saying "Password changed successfully."

This will take you to your Customer Account Page.
- Log into your PC Matic account.
If you have forgotten your password, you may click on the "forgot password" option to initiate the process of sending a reset email to yourself.
NOTE: If you do not receive the link to reset the password in just a few minutes, be sure to check your junk/spam folders.
- Next, proceed by clicking the "Log In" button to access your account.
- Click on "Change Email or Password."
- Re-enter your Password.
Your previous email address and password will appear.
- Update your password.
NOTE: We will inform you about the strength of your password, whether it is weak, average, or strong.
- Save your updated password. You will be redirected to your account dashboard with "Your information has been updated."
