Install PC Matic on macOS 10.12 Sierra

To complete the installation process, you will need to know the administrator password for the computer. This is most likely the password you use to log in to your Mac on a daily basis.

  1. Download the PC Matic installer file from the link above.
  2. Navigate to where you downloaded and saved the .dmg installer file.
  3. Open the InstallPCMatic.dmg  file to begin the installation process.
  4. A new window will open containing the PC Matic.pkg installer file.
  5. Double-click the PC Matic.pkg  file to open the installer.
  6. Click Continue then click Install to begin the installation.
  7. When prompted, enter your administrator password and click Install Software.
  8. Installation will continue and may take a few minutes. When complete, click the Close button.
  9. When prompted, select Move to Trash, to delete the installer file.
  10. You should now see a red PC Matic/SuperShield icon in the Status Bar at the top of your desktop.
  11. Click the icon, and select Register Computer to connect this Mac with your PC Matic account.
  12. Enter the email address and password associated with your PC Matic account.
  13. The PC Matic/SuperShield icon will turn green.

Installation is complete!
